So after the Y connection can you continue one leg with more light sections ? I would be adding two or three more sections to one of the legs after the Y is installed .

What about if you have a switch like that, but the tab is already broken on the left side. How would you wire it then so the pilot light comes on when you flip the switch?

I never use the outdoor keyboard to close the garage door. I always use the inside wall controller to close it! Also the Chamberlain wall control looks cheap and doesn't have a vacation lockout feature, which is important.

What would you do in a situation where you have an existing light fixture that you want to replace with a ceiling fan but the box that's currently in the ceiling is very loose with old wiring and will not support the weight of a fan? And you don't have attic access?

Can I run power to a Switch then to the wall run the same way you did the plugs?

If everything is on the same circuit does it really matter if you connect the 2 black wires on the two brass screws or if you pigtail them and connect to a single screw? This is the only confusing part. Thank you.

I use the Dolphin Premier. Yes, it's corded. That wasn't a deal breaker for me. It offers a filter option, (the bleated one) that gets the fine dirt. The bag filter option is great for fall leaves. The last one is worthless to me. Fine dirt will pass thru that one, as well as the cordless model top filter.

Great vid, this exposes HA entities in Alexa. How about the opoposite of that? Is there a solution for that? I want plugs that are in Alexa to be exposed to HA to be controlled in HA automation. Is that possible without HACloud? Case in point, i have a bunch of these Linkind doggone plugs that cannot be integrated with Tuya/SmartLife, but instead only work with an app called AIDOT, and work perfectly in Alexa. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is there a way to wire the switch outlet combo so the switch powers the outlet, plugging a water pump outside for my rain barrels, system would like to plug it in to the bottom outlet and be able to turn it on with the switch, I would get my power source from a existing outlet in the house on a exterior wall, please help, thank you

Just moved into a house. Have an outlet next to a light switch. When the light switch is off, my outlet tester says the outlet beside it is wired correctly. When the light switch is on, it says hot and neutral reversed. What is my problem?

Why 5 way Waygos when it is only 3 wires for each color? would a 4 waygo work as well?

I got a outlet that I want to put outside. I took out the receptacle inside and it got four wires going to it.

do the instructions explain that if you are going to use the Ethernet connector, that the Emporia box should probably be kept outside the panel, since you aren't supposed to run Low Voltage and Line Voltage in the same enclosure, without a suitable separator of some kind? I'm not an electrician, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, last night, and this came up when I installed a gang box with both AC, Ethernet and coax (from different conduits, but into the same box).

Just came across this video while I was trying to figure out why the same unit I have is no longer collecting water. Despite me cleaning the filter and doing all the maintenance as suggested in the owner's manual. I'm disappointed in GE. I paid almost $300 for this thing and it barely lasted 3 years. This country no longer builds quality products. It's all about profits, so cheap manufacturing overseas with cheap labor.
